Femben Football Academy proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of one of its own, Joshua Odugbesan, who has been named Player of the Tournament at the recently concluded TUT International Student Sport Day 2026.

Joshua is a product of Femben Football Academy, Pretoria, where he has spent the last 10 years developing through the Academy’s Long-Term Athlete Development Programme (LTADP).

His journey at Femben is a reflection of the Academy’s commitment to long-term, structured player development. From his formative years as a young player, Joshua has been nurtured through a pathway designed not only to develop footballing ability, but also to prepare players for higher levels of competition and future opportunities.

Joshua’s latest recognition adds another milestone to an already impressive Femben journey. He is the all-time highest goal scorer in the history of Femben Football Academy, a record that highlights his consistency, attacking ability and contribution to the Academy over the years.

His Player of the Tournament award at TUT International Student Sport Day is therefore more than an individual achievement. It represents a significant moment in a 10-year development journey and another example of the talent that can emerge from a deliberate and sustained player-development programme.
